I realize the Oscars were like, a month ago. I've been trying to get into the swing of blogs again, so here's an extremely late Oscar commentary.
I always look forward to seeing what Cameron Diaz wears- she's such a red carpet inspiration. She looked stunning in this pale pink Dior. The color is flattering on her tan, and the gathering adds a more unique twist.
Heidi Klum looked so amazing in her John Galliano Haute Couture gown. The red makes a huge statement and complements her skin perfectly. The collar has such a dramatic, Hollywood feel to it. Heidi's was definitely one of my favorites that night.
Marion Cotillard proved herself as a fashion icon as well as a great actress at the Oscars. Her Jean Paul Gaultier dress has such a chic, French feel to it. The color is gorgeous as well. She accented her look with bouncy Old Hollywood-style hair and red lips.
Penelope Cruz has been looking so fabulous lately, her risk-taking is what makes her style so interesting. This Chanel Haute Couture dress is gorgeous. I think Penelope is the only one that can pull off draping and feathers in the same dress. The simple navy color balances it out.
I thought Kristin Chenoweth looked amazing in her Armani Prive dress. At first glance, it looks simple, but then you notice the nude underlay and it elevates it to a whole new level. I love this look!
Keri Russell is a new mom and absolutely stunning. This champagne colored Nina Ricci gown is a simple beauty, and I love how Keri added the necklaces to give it the illusion of straps.
Anne Hathaway is a perfect example of what young Hollywood should be. This red rosette gown by Marchesa looks amazing against her porcelain skin, it really stands out. This is such an elegant dress, I love the draping.
I love Amy Adams and she really knows how to accentuate her red hair. I'm not the biggest fan of dark green, but Amy made her Proenza Schouler dress work with her fair skin, red hair, and gold bag. I do love the corset detail at the top.
Jessica Alba is going to have a fabulous pregnancy, and she let everyone know in this purple Marchesa dress. It's not a common color for the red carpet, but she looked gorgeous in it. I really hate feathers most of the time, but I couldn't say anything bad about this dress.

I absolutly adored Heidi's gown. It was definetly a risk but she pulled it off flawlessly. I love anything with an old hollywood glamour feel to it and this is one of my favorite looks. Keep up the good work girl!
