i hope teen vogue now knows she is not god's gift to fashion

Kira Plastinina.
We all know the story. She's 16 years old, daddy's a Russian mogul, he sees her little sketches, says "Hey, I'm rich! Let's make you some stores across the world selling disgusting and overpriced clothing. Oh look, here's Teen Vogue on the phone. They want to do 48 features about how fantastic you are."

And she proceeds to take over the world, making clothes like this:

Cute.

But alas, even dairy and orange juice heiresses like Kira can't always get what they want. Kira's USA stores will all be closing in late December because of bankruptcy..

I don't want to say I'm glad, that's just mean, but...

  3. thank you very much :)
and I don't think its fair that just because you're rich you should have it easier in life. If you want something work hard for it! Don't just rely on daddy's money!!
you make a very good point honey!
    xx

  9. it just goes to show that you need rich parents to be big... i cant believe teen vogue featured her
its one thing if she started from scratch but everything was already done for her!

  10. I'm sorry.
I honestly love the clothing that is sold in the New York Store of Kira Plastinina...
I didn't think it was overpriced because I bought a beautiful white sweater for only 48$ and not on sale.

Though her designs are basic and not clever, her store looks super-cool and the staff there are wonderful.

Kira's clothing is not what I call amazing fashion but they are great everyday pieces. And discrediting her work just because she has a rich father is a terrible thing to do.
