The Color Purple

^^title from the musical, if you haven't guessed already^^

First of all, I am SO sorry that I haven't posted in such a long time. I have so much homework, but this week will be pretty easy, so I will probably be able to fit in both of my WWOO. Now onto the post. One of fall's most important colors is purple. In a sea of black and gray, it's easy to stand out in fall by wearing a vibrant shade of purple. It is one of the easiest bright and bold colors to wear, and is so pretty. Here are some purple items that I love, and will fit perfectly into a well-rounded fall wardrobe.

This adampluseve Deep V Striped Sweater from ShopBop is adorable- I love the preppy feel to it, but you can still make it edgy. This looks great with a pair of jeans or a simple, streamlined wool mini.

Another great piece from adampluseve is this Short Sleeve Silk Wrap Top. Wow...this is absolutely gorgeous. It's so elegant, especially the color fading all around it. This is just so beautiful, but so versatile too.

I love this Free People dress- it's mostly a summer dress, but you could easily make it fall appropriate with a thickly knit cardigan and tights. I love the corset detailing on this dress.

This Abaete Paillet Tank Dress from Bergdorf Goodman is perfect for a party where you want to be seen and noticed. The purpley-blue color is fabulous, and I love the paillets.

This Foley + Corinna dress is just...amazingggg. Let me count the reasons you should love it as much as I do:

1) Silk jersey, anyone?
2) The gorgeous color
3) That amazing draping
4) The best cocktail party dress EVER.

I'm not usually a huge fan of hoodies, but this Free People one is adorable! I love how instead of a solid color or a typical velour Juicy track jacket (gag), it has this cute print! I love the cropped fit, too.

This Lux Sheerness Tee from Urban Outfitters is cute and simple, but still really stylish. Love it!

A fabulous piece from one of my new obsessions- Madison Marcus. This deep, rich shade of purple is adorable, and the detail on the hem adds an interesting twist. This dress is so chic and pretty, it's just...AMAZING!

Manolos are a girl's best friend, and these purple satin heels are so incredibly gorgeous, I really just can't contain myself. Can you imagine wearing these? I can..in my lovely dreams...

Marc by Marc Jacobs...creates eternal obsessions, like this adorable faille dress from ShopBop. The tiers are so cute, and with the transparent stripes, it makes it even better.

This Lux Sugar Kane dress is fabulous with it's soft and feminine ruffles and youthful color. Since this picture only shows the back, here's a picture of the front in red to show you just how cute it is.

Kind of reminds you of the white Marilyn Monroe dress, no?

To get in on the colored denim trend but not feel too flashy, these Rich & Skinny jeans are the perfect option. The purple isn't too bright, more like maroon, but these are still great.

This Tibi Bubble Print Cami is adorable. It's circles everywhere are so fun, but the satin halter gives it a more elegant contrast.

I am absolutely obsessed with Splendid clothes. They are seriously the most comfortable thing I have ever put on, but are still cute as well. The shirts are great for anything- casual days, sleeping, etc..and their dresses are amazing. This Split Neck Top from Barneys is adorable- I love the different shades of purple stripes.

This MINT Drapey Bubble Top from Pink Mascara is fantastic- everything from the color, the voluminous sleeves, and bubble hem I love. This could be both sophisticated or casual, depending on what you wear it with.

This Mayle 'Jeanne' bag is so elegant- couldn't you imagine Miranda Priestly throwing it onto Andy Sachs' desk?

I am loving this Rory Beca tunic top from Pink Mascara. The bow is so cute, and I love how this can be transitioned from a dress to a top.

These Carmen Ho Ballerina Flats from Neiman Marcus are gorgeous. The combination of the luxe python and the rich suede is amazing. I wouldn't want to wear these shoes anywhere because I would be scared of ruining their beauty...

And lastly, this American Apparel dress is great for a simple, casual look that's so easy to wear.
