Week's Worth of Outfits

Ahhh! I haven't posted forever and missed last week's WWOO. I'm horrible. This week was so busy- they stack it on the week before Thanksgiving break just to break you down, I swear...oh well.

MONDAY:



Start with this gorgeous cobalt blue silk tank by Mint. This is delicate and romantic, still one of the key trends for spring.



Top it with this effortless-chic gray cardigan from Vince.



Some simple, slightly distressed William Rast jeans. I love the contrast stitching on this pair of jeans.



Finish with these coordinating Fairytales are True ballet flats from Urban Outfitters.

TUESDAY:



This See by Chloé blouse has a quirky 60's feel to it, especially the vintage looking print. This is actually quite a versatile top despite the wild print- it can work with jeans, skinny or wide leg pants, or skirts.


Pair it with this gold tweed Topshop skirt. This is a really unique piece, and so adorable with oranges, yellows, or reds.



Add this wire bangle by SURevolution for a funky and edgy touch.




Finish with these gorgeous bright orange ruched ballet flats by Pedro Garcia. I need these in my wardrobe- the color is so bold and makes such a statement.

WEDNESDAY:




This dress by Phillip Lim is so simplistic chic- the contrasting white hem looks so sleek against the navy, it is a fabulous and elegant combination.



Add the J.Crew cardigan, this time in a gorgeous pure white.




This Adina Reyter necklace is so delicate, almost as if it wasn't even there. It is so sophisticated and adds that extra bit of glamour every outfit needs.



These metallic flats from Theory are a good contrast to the light colors in the rest of the outfit.

THURSDAY:



Ever since I saw the girl in the last Teen Vogue wearing this, I have been coveting this Marc by Marc sweater. I love how it's purposely turned inside out, and the unique color-block type thing going on is adorable.



These gray wide leg Citizens of Humanity jeans are a perfect compliment.



Who knew Cavalli made amazing jewelry? I immediately fell for this metallic pink- surprisingly, it goes with so much.



End with these silver Fairytales are True ballet flats from Urban Outfitters. These are simple but so cute.

FRIDAY:



Urban Outfitters is coming out with amazing sweater dresses for the winter season approaching, and this Lux one is adorable. The turtleneck isn't too bulky, more light than overpowering your neck....which is always good.



Add the basic Sparkle&Fade sweater tights.



And if you're feeling a bit daring, go for the it shoe of fall and winter, the oxford heel, this time done up in a glamorous navy patent leather.

SATURDAY:



Splendid is amazing for its jersey, obviously, but now they have come out with METALLIC JERSEY. Oh yes. This dark silver is so gorgeous and really easy to wear.



Okay, this feels AMAZING. I saw it at Urban Outfitters in some different colors and it was gorgeous. I love this hot pink, it looks funky and unexpected paired with the metallic.



MbMJ jeans are consistently fabulous- I love this dark pair.



Finish with these studded Burberry flats from Net-a-Porter. These are so versatile- they could be elegant Upper East Side, or hipster-ish...and from Burberry? Who would have thought...

SATURDAY:



Start with the basic black Splendid long sleeved tee.



Layer on this gorgeous cobalt blue leaf-printed blouse from Urban Outfitters. I love the rounded neck on this, and the color can match anything.



JBrand makes fantastic cords and these skinny black ones are fabulous.



The great thing about cobalt blue is that it can match both gold and silver, while warm colors are usually paired with gold and cool colors with silver. This Lee Angel bracelet from Intermix is a perfect pairing.



DKNY makes these amazing distressed metallic flats. I just can't get over the gorgeousness of these...

Week's Worth of Outfits

MONDAY:



Start with this artsy, color-blocked knit sweater from Marc by Marc Jacobs. This looks so comfortable and still adorable to keep warm.



These dark flared Genetic Denim jeans from ShopBop are so versatile and showcase the fabulous sweater. These are a perfect wash, too.



Accessorize with a stack of these Kenneth Jay Lane rhinestone bangles.



Finish the outfit with a different color of the Jinny Kim flats shown in a previous WWOO, this time in a gorgeous emerald green.

TUESDAY:



This cobalt blue pleated Alice + Olivia dress is simple and chic. With the right accessories, you can take it from spring into summer into fall into winter!



This Alexis Bittar bracelet from Intermix is so unique- it has so many adorable touches that make it stand out from anything you've ever seen. Check out that color fade...



Finish with these suede and satin J.Crew flats in purple tones- so pretty!

WEDNESDAY:



I saw this Lux dress at Urban Outfitters today and it was gorgeous- the fabric is incredibly light and breezy against your skin, it feels fantastic. I love this blue print too.



I was unsure about putting this Free People cardigan on over it, but I decided to, since nobody likes to be boring, right? I figured if you matched at least one color in the print, it could definitely work. Oh yes, with almost every sweater I put on here- LEAVE IT UNBUTTONED!



Under it, put your basic black opaque tights.



Keep the rest of your outfit very simple, you don't want to go overboard. These simple black Pedro Garcia flats are perfect to polish off the look.

THURSDAY:



This adorable baby blue tee from Urban Outfitters is a fantastic layering piece and so easy to make exciting.



Tuck it into this Topshop skirt.



Belt it with this colorful purple J.Crew patent leather belt. This is what makes the tucked in tee work.



This gorgeous, unique purple Fendi bracelet from Net-a-Porter is so fabulous...it's just amazing.



Finish off this very colorful outfit with these crazy hot pink flats from Shellys London (they actually are called the Crazy flat...)

FRIDAY:



This burnt orange silk chiffon Chloé top from Net-a-Porter is gorgeous- the cut and shape flow beautifully and the whole thing is so elegant.



Top it with this fuchsia J.Crew cardigan (you know what, it is no longer THIS cardigan...it is THE cardigan)



These MbMJ jeans have a great wash, they're perfect and look so comfortable.



Finish with the now famous J.Crew Twinkle flats (I seriously am obsessed with these shoes)

SATURDAY:



This purple ballet-inspired Rachel Pally tee from ShopBop is a perfect base for any outfit. I love adding color to this to jazz it up.



Some simple dark Paige skinny jeans are a great bottom half.



Like I said, color is great to make a simple tee more exciting- try these bright yellow Urban Outfitters bangles.



These fabulous new boots from Urban Outfitters are an essential.

SUNDAY:



I also saw this Lux sweater dress at UO today- the fabric was soooo soft and I wanted to buy it so badly!



Black tights...



I love a ton of silver with red, so these silver Tory Burch flats are perfect.



I would love seeing a thick silver bangle, like this Kenneth Jay Lane one, layered with a thin one, like the Giles & Brother one below.

J.Crew Lovelies

I just got the new J.Crew catalogue, and it is absolutely gorgeous. I love everything in it, especially the beautiful Scotland scenery. The outfits are always put together flawlessly and everything was just adorable. The clothes are great, but I also noticed the new additions to shoes and bags, so this post is all about J.Crew's fabulous shoes and bags.



These metallic flats are gorgeous, I love the crackle finish. These match nearly everything perfectly, and are so versatile.



Here's the same shoe in a beautiful metallic graphite.



I couldn't contain myself when I first laid eyes on this amazing shoe. It's a gorgeous orange color in a luxe satin, what's not to love?



Obsessed with printed flats. Enough said.



I put these in one of my very first Week's Worth of Outfits, and I still love them to death! They are such an adorable take on the new Mary Janes trend.



I love flats that don't have the traditional bow, buckle, or hardware. These jeweled ones are so elegant and sophisticated.



Beautiful metallic suede flats...the color is just incredible.



And I still cannot get over the Twinkle flats!



They are definitely going on my holiday wish list...

Now for the bags!



J.Crew has fabulous clutches, so original and unique. This reminds me of the Marc Jacobs Softy bags, which is definitely a good thing!



The Uptown Tote comes in tons of colors and is an essential for everyone- a simple, chic leather tote.



I love the suede Maddy bag, this cherry red is eye-catching and very sophisticated. The bows at the sides are such a fun touch.



This is destined to become my new favorite bag...I mean, it's bright yellow! I love yellow.... These buckled straps on the bag are so elegant, adding a gorgeous touch.



J.Crew's clutches have to be my favorite, they are so feminine and the colors are gorgeous. This satin clutch is the perfect clutch for an evening.



After seeing the interns article in Teen Vogue and seeing that girl Mary-Kate or whatever in the cobalt blue blouse and yellow high waisted skirt, I've been obsessed with the blue-and-yellow combination. It's both beautiful and unexpected. This satin clutch is so PRETTY!



This deep cobalt blue color on this satin Josephine purse is so elegant and sophisticated. I love the chain handle, too.



I'm a sucker for hot pink...this Tabloid tote is fabulous!



The Twinkle clutch matches the ballet flats, but I wouldn't advise wearing them together, too matchy-matchy...this clutch is great on it's own though, to glam up a party outfit.

Put on your Mom Jeans...

Ahh...mom jeans. Oh, the tragedy. Unflattering, unattractive, just plain ugly.



This SNL skit never gets old. EVER. "She'll want to wear them with everything, from a soccer game to a night on the town."

While on Urban Outfitters (everything there is either horrifically ugly or absolutely gorgeous...this is choice 1...), I found this vest that was very, VERY similar to the vests shown in the mom jeans commercial...haha.



Never wear this, please. NEVER WEAR THIS.
